Blog: Summer 2015 Recap
Fall weather is officially here, and what better way to say goodbye to the 90-degree days of summer than with a look back at all .gop has accomplished over the past few months?!
We kicked off June when the Republican Party of Virginia launched their brand new website Virginia.gop! The Rhode Island GOP was the next state party to take action in July with RI.gop and New Mexico.gop went live in August! These states followed the lead of Florida.gop and Missouri.gop earlier this year and we are excited for other states to come online this fall!
Ahead of her campaign reset in June, the Republican National Committee turned up the heat on Hillary Clinton by launching stophillary.gop. The site features a survey that quickly signed up over 100,000 voters who believe Hillary Clinton is untrustworthy and pledged to work with the GOP in 2016! The RNC is marketing the site by printing it on koozies, bumper stickers, and t-shirts, and was featured by Chuck Todd on Meet The Press.
Turning its attention to the Republican primary race, the RNC launched convention.gop as the official home of the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland. With summer 2015 behind us, we draw even closer to the convention where we will select our nominee for President of the United States. You can be sure .gop will be there supporting our candidate every step of the way!
The digital connection is crucial to the success of future Republican campaigns. If 2012 taught us anything, it is that we need to use technology to our advantage, and brand new ground game software, republic.gop is poised to does just that. This platform works to incorporate campaign offices with field staff, volunteers, and voters contact reports in an easy to use vehicle to more efficiently utilize all of our resources.
It was a great summer, and we plan on continuing our momentum into the fall and winter! Get your domain at join.gop and keep up with everything we are doing by following us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
